ANZAC Day Commemoration Assembly

On Thursday 27th April, George Bass School held their annual ANZAC Commemoration ceremony. Thank you to the families who were able to attend to mark this occasion. The staff and students participated in the assembly by reciting the Welcome to Country, laying the wreath, placing the poppies in our Remembrance pot and marking their respect through a minute silence. Thank you to Natalie Pierson (Aboriginal Education and Wellbeing Advisor) and Aunty Carol (Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer) for attending and playing a part in the ceremony.
