George Bass School programs for the individual learning needs of each of its students using specialised literacy and numeracy programs. The progress of students is assessed and catered for annually and is tracked via a schoolwide system. The strategies used in these programs assist in the planning of each student's personalised learning plan (PLP).
Our literacy and numeracy programs use the Holroyd, Mary Brooksbank and Chalmers Rd Schools literacy and numeracy programs that were developed and extended during their Every Student, Every School project period throughout 2012-13. These programs are specifically designed to engage all students in appropriate Literacy and Numeracy lessons based on the NSW Board of Studies content and the Australian Curriculum.
